The comeback of classic

The perfect and elegant finish to a nice suit is a city coat.

For winter it should usually be made out of virgin wool/wool, cashmere or in its most exquisite state: fine-threaded cashmere. Professionally manufactured by Eduard Dressler, you can wear it as a classical Paletot similar to wearing a well-fitting blazer. Similar to the jacket the coat is currently living through a renaissance of traditional English fabric: The “Herringbone” is as typical as British pattern. This generation of fabric is similar to its forefather but has one crucial advantage: as “Soft-Tweed” it is very soft and light.

The most modern among coats in terms of form is the short coat. It is straight, covers the knees and is cut closer to the body. It has become a good alternative to the sports jacket, as it looks more elegant.

The extremely light and comfortably cut Lode coats by the Salzburger manufacturer SCHNEIDERS are also popular as they do not look too traditional – instead, they meet the international standard.

Aside from the classical British style we also offer sportier models with different functions with a light design. Of course, these are also available in your size. Gore-Tex is well known for its water and wind-resistant membrane. The new generation of microfibre make extremely light, fine but tough, water-resistant but breathable coats possible. The combination between super-combed Mako-cotton and fine microfibre-garn has a lot of grip and simply looks good. This combination is called “Micro-cotton”.

Coats with detachable lining are very popular. It is no surprise because you can wear this kind of coat almost the whole year! At HIRMER we believe that we have selected a fine assortment of coats in special sizes for you.

Our main brand in our assortment is “bugatti” because of the nice combination between sports, functionality and elegance. The other international brands are “BURBERRY” and “pierre cardin” as well as the specialists “Country Frey” and as already mentioned “SCHNEIDERS”.
