THE PERFECT DENIM

WHICH JEANS AND CUTS SUIT ME?

THE FIT

Regular Fit

Regular Fit

The all-rounder

Basics

The Regular Fit is considered a classic among jeans styles. This model features a straight leg and fits slightly tighter on the thighs and looser at the knee. The cut is perfect if you want your jeans to be casual and not too tight, but not too wide either.

Type

Regular Fit is perfect for those with strong builds and a bit of a tummy, as the straight silhouette balances out the proportions of the legs and torso. The cut offers good freedom of movement and perfectly conceals problem areas thanks to the looser-fitting fabric.

Occasions

Regular Fit jeans are suitable for casual looks for leisure time or in the office. In a dark wash, this style also pairs well with a white shirt and a dark jacket. Did you know: The most famous Regular Fit jeans are the classic “501s" from Levis. These are still the best-selling jeans to this day.

Modern Fit

Modern Fit

The Figure Hugger

Basics

Modern Fit is a cut that is close-fitting but not too tight. This cut fits slightly tighter on the leg, making this model perfect for styling with rolled up cuffs. If the trousers have stretch, this body-hugging look also offers optimal freedom of movement and comfort.

Type

Modern Fit jeans are suitable for tall men with slim, athletic legs. But the cut is also well suited for men with shorter legs, as the straight cut visually lengthens the body. What matters most here though is your personal preference for a body-hugging cut.

Occasions

Modern Fit jeans are great for all kinds of outfits and can be adapted perfectly to any style. Pair with casual shirts and sweatshirts for a relaxed and casual look, or dress up dark wash models with a shirt, jacket and business lace-ups for a perfect office outfit.

Stone Washed Denim

Stone washed denim is the classic when it comes to jeans. The fabric is washed with small stones that provide a natural wear effect and make the denim soft and supple.

UNIVERSAL AND CLASSIC

RAW DENIM

RAW DENIM

Authentic and rough – when we talk about raw denim, we mean those dark blue, unwashed jeans. What many people don't know is that the original raw denim has an eggshell off-white hue before it is dyed indigo blue.

HIGH STRETCH DENIM

HIGH STRETCH DENIM

Freedom of movement, exceptional wearing comfort and a perfect fit – this is the luxury offered by the innovative materials from EUREX and PIERRE CARDIN (Hi-FLEX). The excellent stretch properties make the denim durable and dimensionally stable.

BLACK AND GREY DENIM

BLACK AND GREY DENIM

Rocking or elegant – black denim is dyed completely black and, depending on the finish, looks either elegant or rough and rocking with used effects. When washing, turn these trousers inside out to prevent the colour from bleeding too much and to maintain the rich tone.

TIPS FOR BUYING

JEANS SIZES

Jeans are usually not labelled with the standard clothing sizes XXL-8XL, but with the abbreviations W and L.

W stands for Waist, meaning the width of the waistband. The abbreviation L stands for length. This indicates the inseam length of the trousers. Length and Waist measurements are given in inches. 1 inch corresponds to 2.54 centimetres.

If you are confused about finding your perfect size, check out our size guide for the product, or determine your size using the size chart.

Do you want to work out your size yourself?

Here's how:

Take off your shoes and stand upright on the floor.

Waist Inside leg measurement: The inside of the leg from the foot to the crotch.

If you have measured in centimetres, divide the measurements by 2.54 to find the number in inches.

Example:

Waist 112 cm / 2,54 = 44,09 ≙ 44

Inside leg 82 cm / 2,54 = 32,28 ≙ 32

Your are a size 44/32.

TIPS & TRICKS

DENIM – WASH IT OR PUT IT IN THE FREEZER?

Frequent washing is not good for denim. It is better to put your jeans into cold storage for about 24 to 48 hours. Keeping your jeans in the freezer compartment of your fridge helps to maintain their shape and keep them fresh. Bacteria that don’t mind a washing temperature of 30 to 40 degrees do not like sub-zero temperatures at all, so the jeans will be fresh and also smell clean again. If the jeans have stains or you have worn them often, washing at 40 to 60 degrees (see care label) is the best choice.

Use our Click and Collect service and pick up your jeans directly from a shop near you. You can try your jeans on then and there and, if necessary, change them for the correct size right away. Our fashion advisors are looking forward to your visit. Don‘t have a store near you. No problem. Exchanging items is also very easy and you will receive another size without any extra shipping costs.

When making this decision, it is important to take note of the material. Pure cotton denims or denims with a high cotton content are better bought one size larger, as they shrink a little more. Denims with spandex and polyester content, on the other hand, can be bought in the size you calculated earlier. They retain their size even after washing.

The fit of a pair of jeans is particularly important. If you buy denim online, our size guide will help you find the right fit. Nevertheless, even when you buy the same brand, jeans always turn out a little bit different.
