Denim jeans in tall sizes: Cool and casual

Jeans exude masculinity, nonchalance and coolness – they are always a good choice. They are always on trend. Although jeans used to solely be considered workwear, they are now our reliable companions for everyday life, leisure and even at the office. It is hard to imagine a life without jeans. Men's wardrobes tend to be filled with a selection of different jeans.

We all have at least one in our wardrobe: A pair of blue jeans. They are made of a sturdy cotton material called denim that is very comfortable to wear. The fabric originated in the French city of Nîmes ("Serge de Nîmes" is French for "fabric from Nîmes"). The name was soon shortened to denim. Denim has been used in the US since the late 18th century. The word "jeans" stems from the small French town of Genoa (Gênes), where the first pair of jeans was made.

Denim blue jeans – the basic men's pants

Denim used to be dyed using indigo, to make sure those "blue jeans" were actually blue. A lighter shade of blue became more popular in later years. Denim fabric has a dense and sturdy structure and it provides better UV protection than other materials.
